A good throwback jersey goes a long way with us, and the throwbacks that the Oshawa Generals will be rocking this afternoon are fantastic.
Today, for their game against the Kingston Frontenacs, the Generals will honour their 1990 Memorial Cup winning team with a nod to to the jerseys they wore. Not only will they wear the jerseys, but each one will have the name of a different player from the 1990 team embroidered in the collar.
The current Gens and the 1990 Gens were able to catch up last night ahead of the game, and there were some notable characters in the building.
The Generals are also selling some sweet vintage Memorial Cup T-Shirts, and giving away posters to the first 2,000 fans in the building.
Looks like a great time last night, and it should be a great game this afternoon!
