In honour of the day, the Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate for the Tampa Bay Lightning and farmhand for the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL, released custom jerseys featuring a pepperoni pizza and their logo.

Symmetrical with the Solar Bears' team colours, the logo was located just in front of the crust on a succulent-looking pie.
