Picture this; it’s Sunday and the gang's all together, ready to watch some Sunday football.
The snacks are hot, the drinks are cold, and the company is fantastic.
Life is good.
The tradition of watching football on Sundays with family and friends is one that many people hold near and dear to their hearts, and is one that wouldn’t be complete without the appropriate football fan attire.
The atmosphere just wouldn’t be the same without fans gathered around television sets, all donning their teams respective jerseys, and the Official NFL Shop has just released the Top 10 Selling Jerseys of 2018.
There’s few shockers on this list, with five-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady topping the chart, joined by fellow top quarterbacks in Carson Wentz and Drew Brees, which were both unsurprising to see on the list. Fan favourites Ezekiel Elliott and, Dak Prescott, and Juju Smith-Schuster also cracked the top ten.
It’s also no surprise that fans would want to get their hands on some of the first of their favourite rookie jerseys, which is why Penn State alumni and Giants RB Saquon Barkley, and former first overall pick Baker Mayfield are also fairly obvious additions to lots of fans’ staple Sunday wardrobe.
The biggest surprise for us comes in at second on the list, where Bears’ linebacker Khalil Mack holds his own against some pretty big superstars in the league, especially since players on the defensive line are often overlooked when it comes to purchasing jerseys.
It seems that many fans have added some key new elements to their jersey collection, and it remains to be seen which fanbase will see playoff success with their new lucy jerseys.
