If you ask Canadians what their favourite thing to watch on TV is, there is a good chance that they respond hockey. If not, there is a good chance they respond with hit comedy series The Office.
Well, have we got a clip for you.
The Ottawa 67’s are hosting a Dunder Mifflin night (too fun) and they warmed their fans up to the evening with an epic promotion – one of the most accurate remakes of The Office intro we’ve seen yet.
Seriously, they did everything right here. No shortcuts. They also filled the video with little Easter eggs for hockey fans to enjoy, such as the mini hockey trophy replacing Michael Scott’s Dundee, or the Peterborough Petes’ logo being shredded by Dwight Schrute, er, I mean Austen Keating.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen the intro used creatively by sports teams, but this is easily the best so far.
