The unofficial second half of the NHL season got underway on Tuesday night with 28 teams returning to the ice after the NHL All-Star weekend. Just about every team in the NHL played a minimum of 48 games heading into Tuesday’s action as we’re witnessing one of the tightest playoff races in the history of the game.

With the unofficial second half of the 2016-17 season getting underway, the league released its list of the 15 Top Selling Jerseys across the league through the first three months. Some of the names on the list are a given, while some might surprise, especially when you think of who didn’t crack the Top 15.

We’re a little surprised that Patrik Laine didn’t crack the NHL’s Top Selling Jerseys list considering how consistent he’s been all season. We're also shocked that Connor McDavid isn’t a little higher up, even though his jersey ranks fifth in the entire league. As for Auston Matthews, just about every Toronto Maple Leafs fan owns his jersey by now, so we're not the least bit surprised he cracked the Top 5.

The two names that shock us the most on this list have to be Henrik Lundqvist at No. 6 and Dylan Larkin at No. 11. This hasn’t been the greatest year for The King, but he still somehow managed to crack this list and managed to squeeze into the the Top 10 in jersey sales.
