Even before the NBA Finals had started, Drake was already acting up on the sidelines and letting his Raptors pride show. (How could we forget his beef with Giannis Antetokounmpo?) It got to the point that the NBA reportedly spoke with the Raptors about his sideline antics, right before the Finals.
Apparently, they went a step further than that as well. Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, told TMZ that the league apparently asked Drake to stay away from Oakland during the Finals out of concern that he would be targeted by other fans in the arena during games.
Well, for the deciding Game 6 played at Oracle Arena, Drake was holding it down right with other Raptors fans at Jurassic Park. He took the stage along with Toronto mayor John Tory, and got real emotional celebrating with the fans when the final buzzer sounded on the Raptors’ title.
Since then, Drake has already made his way over to Vegas, taking in the win with the team. The guy can give a pretty good toast!
