2020 continues to be full of nuance, for better or for worse (mostly for worse), with the latest oddity coming out of the MLB. An announcement was made that teams would compete in a 60-game season, over 100 games less than their usual 162-game schedule, before competing in an expanded playoff format.

So that begs the question, does the winner have an asterisk next to their World Series championship? Should the Washington Nationals still be considered the most recent legitimate winner?

Welp, doesn’t look like they care. They flexed a little bit after the announcement was made, challenging the rest of the league to “come and get it”.

 

That’s pretty badass, not going to lie. Seeping with confidence, the Nats will certainly not be easy-outs when the MLB finally returns.
