The city is getting an NWHL team!
Amid the boredom of quarantine and social distancing, the new club took to Twitter with a naming poll to help fans kill some time, and to get some name ideas for the new club.
Today, the team shared the best of the suggestions, and some of them are completely epic.
Everyone loves a good animal name – so the Tigers, Huskies, Stallions, and Polar Bears are all great options, but weather-related names like the Tempest and the Frost are also awesome. True North has a great ring to it, too!
Time will tell what the team decides on, but they’re definitely not short on fantastic options.
