Although they're down 2-0 to the Milwaukee Bucs, Kawhi Leonard's game-winning shot to seal their second-round series over the Philadelphia 76ers is still fresh on the minds of Torontonians.
And if you happen to travel to Queen Street West in downtown Toronto, you will now see the shot depicted on some fresh street art.
You just knew it was only a matter of time before that popped up somewhere. The mural first appeared with a different photo of the Raptors superstar prior to the start of the second-round.
Last week, a New Balance ad appeared at Dundas Square with the words "fun guy."
While we won't know if Leonard will re-sign in Toronto, it's clear that the city has embraced the California product as one of their own. The mural, of course, is ammo for the movement to keep Kawi around, and between the billboard and two murals, the city of Toronto is pulling out the stops in hopes of keeping him around.
But the most convincing way for Kawhi to stay is if the Raps and take a bite of the Bucks' lead and battle back in hopes of making it to the NBA Finals.
