There are so many things to love about the Winter Classic. The ODR’s, the potential of playing in the snow, and of course the Winter Classic Jerseys. As much as we look forward to the game, there’s just as much hype behind the unveiling of the jerseys that will be worn during the game.

This year the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues will play on January 1st in the 2022 Winter Classic from Target Field, where the Minnesota Twins play. Although we don’t yet know what the venue will look like once it’s all decked out, we do know what the Wild will look like.

The Minnesota Wild unveiled their 2022 Winter Classic jerseys and they’re looking amazing. The front of the jersey has the crest of the state of Minnesota, surrounded by an ode to Minneapolis-Saint Paul. What really stands out though are the colors. The dark green with the red and white stripes is a great look by itself. Add on the cream pants and gloves and you’ve got a winner. The only part I’m not sold on is those cream patches on the elbows. Although I think the Wild nailed it, a lot of twitter is torn on the jersey.

Where do you stand? Are you in or out on the Wild’s Winter Classic jersey?
