Well it’s been roughly 24 hours since the whole rat or raccoon debacle took over both the New York Mets fan base and the baseball community, and we’re no closer to finding out whether or not that was really what sparked some mid-game commotion between Francisco Lindor and Jeff McNeil.
And hey, we may never know the truth about what happened down the team tunnel!
But that doesn’t mean we can’t continue having fun with one of the best press conference moments of the season.
So of course, ahead of the Mets' second game of their series against the Diamondbacks, it was reported that the Mets have incorporated the meme into a scoreboard game with fans.
Having the entire organization stick with the story that we’re still pretty skeptical even happened, is actually hilarious and may have even made us develop a secret love for the Mets.
