The boys that brought you the popular “I’m On A Boat” track are back better than ever, and their latest release a baseball element.
The Lonely Island – better known as Andy Samberg, Akiva Scaffer and Jorma Taccone – released a new track called “Bash Brother” a salute to former sluggers Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco and the 1989 World Series Champion Oakland Athletics.
At a live performance in Pasadena, California, Samberg and Schaffer threw on a couple throwback Canseco and McGwire jerseys when they played their new track.

The Bash Brothers were notoriously known taking steroids or “juicing” which helped them reach high home run totals.
All three members grew up in the Bay Area during the Bash Brothers era, and make numerous steroids jokes and Bay Area references in the song. A hard copy of the song is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
