For any hockey player at any level, the hope is to be able to play the sport you love for as long as you can, even if that means playing into your 90s.

Obviously this is one of those "a lot easier said than done" scenarios, but if you're looking for some inspiration, Mark Sertich celebrated his 98th birthday Thursday doing what he loves most, playing hockey.

Sertich holds the Guinness World Record for Oldest Ice Hockey player and it's insane to think he could still be playing hockey at the age of 100 in just two short years.

We all aspire to play hockey forever and Mark gives us hope that we can accomplish that goal (and score one at 98 on the ice, too).
