All is not well with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Following Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Penguins, they’ve lost five straight games, and confidence seems to have hit a low in the locker room.
Let’s just say that Leafs fans aren’t exactly taking this well. Over on the team subreddit, they may have seen enough of this for a little while.
It looks like r/Leafs has rebranded as a tree leaves fandom. Many of the top and new posts are to do with maples, eucalyptus leaves and so on. This is fine!
In the past, we’ve seen fans of the Hurricanes, Flames and Stars also take shots at their teams with subreddit rehauls. As far as ways to express your displeasure goes, it’s definitely a funny one.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to plant a tree, the Leafs subreddit has your back right now.
