‘On The Bench’ stars Olly Postanin and Jacob Ardown are living the dream.
The two long-haired superstars have had the pleasure of attempting to teach different NHLers various ‘rules of the game’, which usually ends up with them somehow falling off their feet. The duo recently attempted to give Winnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele pointers on how to win a faceoff and things didn’t exactly go as planned.
In their newest segment, the boys attempted to teach their fans how to ‘foil’ up before a fight but were abruptly interrupted midway through by three of the greatest fighters the game has ever seen. That’s right, we’re talking about Slapshot’s infamous Hanson Brothers.
Cardboard Connection
The iconic trio taught the boys how to properly tape their wrists and fists before entering a fight. Everything seemed fine until Postanin and Ardown offered them a non-alcoholic beverage; a root beer. The gentlemen didn’t take too kindly to the offer and instantly began pouncing on the youngsters.
Just another beating for the ‘On the Bench’ guys.
It’s been a while since the Hansons have dropped the mitts on the ice, and it only seems right to show highlights of them from their prime. In case you forgot, these guys knew how to throw a punch or two.

It’s hard to imagine the guys landing better guests, so we’ll have to see who they’re able to feature next. This one easily stands as one of the best so far.
