The Vegas Golden Knights have only been around for a couple of years, but that was long enough for them to build a rivalry with the San Jose Sharks.

On Wednesday, the Golden Knights opened their season at home against the Sharks, only Evander Kane wasn’t in the visitors’ lineup due to a suspension. Well, that didn’t stop the Golden Knights’ in-game production team from taking a shot at the 28-year-old forward.

Before the game got underway, the Golden Knights trolled Kane on the jumbotron by placing his face on a milk carton like he’s a missing person and said he was last seen whining. On top of that, boo’s echoed throughout the arena when it was announced that Kane is not in the Sharks’ lineup, for obvious reasons.

The two teams go head-to-head again this Friday night in San Jose, but Kane will be out for that meeting as well. The next time he’ll be able to go up against the Golden Knights will be on November 21 in Vegas.
