The NHL is taking the ODR by storm this weekend, with a pair of outdoor games taking place on gorgeous Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche are first up with a Saturday game, and scenes from the game are absolutely stunning.

Both teams are also wearing their Reverse Retro jerseys, which only adds to the aesthetic appeal of the game — the Golden Knights are wearing their bright reds, which pop on the ice, and the Avs are debuting their Quebec Nordiques-inspired look for the first time this season.

What a backdrop for the game that Lake Tahoe is. Before the season started, we had been hoping that the NHL would be able to stage a game at Lake Louise, and while that didn’t work out, this is still a stunning look.

Next up are the Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday, and we’re definitely looking forward to that one too.
