It’s E3 week so we’ve got our eyes peeled for all of the big video game announcements coming our way. If you’re hoping for Breath of the Wild 2, you’ll have to wait for Nintendo’s presentation on June 15th. Xbox wrapped up their presentation, and showed off details for games such as Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5. There were a ton of other announcements during Xbox’s presentation, but our first look at the new Forza took our breath away.
This edition of the open world racing game will take place in Mexico and it’s beyond gorgeous. You’ll be able to race through the cities of Mexico, along the beaches and even next to volcanoes. If you’re not into racing games, you’ll at the very least be into this game just for the sights.
The wide array of cars and the serene racing environment should be enough for fans of the franchise, but Forza Horizon 5 is going above and beyond. The campaign mode will have you driving through the rainforests of Mexico. There will also be a new ‘eliminator’ Battle Royale mode, and some mini-games that you can dive into with your friends.
Not only that, you’ll be able to create your very own races and minigames so the possibilities are literally endless with this upcoming Forza game. If you’re already a fan of the series then Forza Horizon 5 will be a dream come true. It’s currently slated to be released on November 9th for the Xbox Series X, S and PC.
