Justin Tucker is one of the most reliable kickers in all of football. Entering Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, he was 220-for-220 on extra point kicks in his career, and 115-of-117 on field goals within 39 yards to boot. That guy is good at his job!
Unfortunately, the first extra point miss of his career couldn’t have come at a worse time for the Baltimore Ravens. After they scored a touchdown in the final minute, Tucker's PAT would've tied the game... but he just missed it.
Tucker has bulit up a lot of goodwill in his career, and this couldn’t possibly have burned through all of it, but it’s a bummer for everyone. It was especially a bummer for Tucker himself!
