One of our favourite things in sports is when two teams from the same city that play wildly different sports show a little love and support for one another.
We saw it a whole lot during ‘Champa’ Bay’s seemingly endless Championships in the past year or so, and we always love to see home teams have other teams from the city out to their games to support. Last night, the LA Dodgers did just that, and hosted a full-blown LA Kings soirée.
Ahead of the event, the Kings teased the evening with some pretty sweet crossover swag.
It looks like the whole LA Kings family was out to support, and captain Anze Kopitar had the honour of throwing the opening pitch at the game.
Thanks to the good luck, the Dodgers took the W over the Padres 3-0. Gotta love a little brotherly love in the City of Angels!
