Athletes and teams have an incredible platform to help make the craziest wishes and dreams of others come true.  On Wednesday, the Dallas Stars were involved in making the ultimate wish of Anderson McDuffie come true.

For those unfamiliar with Anderson's story, the Stars fan was born with a heart condition and back in May, he had is second major surgery.

Hockey helped him get through the recovery and the Stars partnered with North Texas' Make-A-Wish Foundation to make his wish come true, playing against his favourite team.

McDuffie and the EKG's squared off against the Stars in front of a packed house and the team did everything they could to make the game feel larger than life, which it was.
There were some in-game trades made and when it was all said and done, Anderson scored the winner for his team.
What an incredible day for Anderson and his teammates.  It's one he'll never forget and things like this always warm our heart because of how much it means to kids like Anderson.
