When the Portland Trail Blazers came from behind to defeat the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs, the Curry family instantly became conflicted.
Seth Curry, Steph's young brother, will be with the Blazers when they head to Oakland as underdogs in the Western Conference Finals to take on Steph and the Warriors.
Dell and Sonya Curry will be in attendance for Game 1, but just who exactly will they be cheering for?
They're going to use some good old fashion probability in the form of a coin flip, as per an interview they did with ESPN.
“We are flipping a coin every game,” Sonya said.
“It’s a first experience for all of us,” explained Dell. “Biggest thing is we are trying to decide who represents who.”
“It’s fun,” followed up Sonya. “It is, really. I actually look forward to watching Seth and doing that. I want him to steal the ball and want him to shoot over Stephen and all that good stuff. I want him to have his moments too.
“It’s cool. It’s such a blessing to just be able to watch this and experience all this.”
In what is a dream scnerario for the family, Steph told reporters that it's a "win-win" for his parents.
One of them might go home. But we’re going to the championship!”
For the fifth consecutive season.
