The Colorado Avalanche officially unveiled their Stadium Series jersey and fans have mixed opinions

May as well get this out of the way right off the top, Luca Celebre is writing this article and the reason I'm revealing myself as doing such is because this involves the Colorado Avalanche.

Before the new year, a leak unveiled what many hoped would not be the Avalanche's Stadium Series jersey against the Kings.  Thursday, that fear was made official as the sweater was officially revealed with the help of a few players.

Now, before I go any further, I had a pretty strong take on this jersey back when it was leaked.  I HATED it, plain and simple, but I also wanted to reserve full judgement until I saw it on the players in full uniform.

This jersey reveal didn't give hockey fans that view, but it did give me some hope that it will look better in a game environment.  Yes, I actually kinda sorta like this sweater, especially when you add in the inspiration for it and some of the finer details.

I also understand some of the hate it's getting because let's face it, when it comes to alternate jerseys, the Avs have set the bar extremely high with their beautiful thirds.

That said, I'm happy I waited because seeing Cale and the rest of the squad rock the new threads is making the sweater grow on me more and more.  What say you though?  Let me and the rest of the team know on social media!
