As the playoff series between the Toronto Raptors and the Cleveland Cavaliers heads to Cleveland for Game 3, the Cavs have found a new way to have some fun at Drake’s expense. Home court advantage factors into this dig, too, as the Cavs’ in-arena DJ has decided to refrain from playing any Drake songs while the Raptors are in town.
In a video for UNINTERRUPTED, DJ Steph Floss gets his trash talk in. “Bron’s Plan,” he says of the Game 3 loss hypothetically awaiting the Raptors:
DJ Steph Floss was getting jokes off on Instagram as well...
...which doesn’t even begin to compare to the other Drake-related drama in this series, when he had a bit of a kerfuffle with Cavs center Kendrick Perkins:
Other than that, this all seems to be in good fun, which is probably for the best with frivolities such as these. Nobody's saying to play nice (nice for what?), but maybe reconsider fights between players and courtside celebrities. The Cavs' Anything But Drake playlist does a much better job of hitting the spot.
Anyway, the Raptors have far more else to be worrying about, such as how they’ll turn this series around from an 0-2 hole. They play against the Cavs on Saturday at 8:30 PM ET.
