The Carolina Hurricanes got mistaken for the Carolina Panthers and the Canes absolutely RAN with it

If there’s something all hockey fans can agree on, it’s that the Carolina Hurricanes social team is absolutely hilarious.

They simply do not miss.

So when the team was accidentally mistaken for the Carolina Panthers by ESPN broadcaster Chris Fowler, ya know the football team, of course, the Canes ended up taking the opportunity for amazing social content.

Changing their Twitter profile photo and reaching out to the Panthers themselves, the Canes definitely had some fun tonight.

And it gets even better as the Florida Panthers even joined in on the fun.

AND it gets BETTER, as the Panthers themselves decide to change their Twitter photo to the Canes logo with the Panthers colour matchup.
