After injuries ravaged his final season with the Blue Jays, Josh Donaldson has returned to form this season since signing with the Atlanta Braves. JD has been terrific, to the tune of a .259/.378/.530 slash line and 33 homers through 133 games so far.

The Braves have got to be loving it, and now they have the perfect dugout celebration to match. Donaldson, known for his ‘Bringer of Rain’ nickname, busted out the umbrella after his homer on Saturday.

Now this is the kind of creativity we like to see in celebrating dingers!

Donaldson also made his return to Toronto earlier this week, and he was nothing but gracious to Jays fans. It’s easy to imagine that there could’ve been some hard feelings in the arena with the way that things ended between him and the team, but Donaldson is definitely one of baseball’s good guys.

He received cheers upon his return, and it seems like Jays fans genuinely hope the best for him going forward.
