If you know the Boston Red Sox, you know just how iconic their uniforms are. As one of the oldest franchises in Major League Baseball, the Red Sox iconic red, white, and navy blue is just a staple.
So of course when the team introduced their City Connect jerseys, it was pretty unique for the team to use a marathon-inspired yellow and blue this season as their alternates.
But Red Sox fans are onto something...the yellow jerseys may just be the secret to their victories.
Literally, in the five of their seven recent victories, they have rocked the City Connects.
And it looks like their luck is extended into the postseason, as the league itself has stated that the team can continue to wear the yellow jerseys into the postseason if they choose to.
We mean, hey superstitions are superstitions and if these new yellow jerseys are what is going to continue to bring wins to the Red Sox, then, by all means, continue being the Boston Yellow Sox!
