The best sources in any sport for breaking news are the actual teams.  Nothing is "official" until the team announces it, so if you don't want to take any chances with breaking news, waiting for a team to make an announcement is always a good idea.

Questioning a team on a piece of news they tweeted, however, is probably not a good idea and this Blue Jays fan found that out first hand when he questioned the team on Twitter about Justin Smoak being out of the lineup.

Well played Blue Jays.  Well played.
This fan and other Jays fans are hoping Smoak is back in the lineup Friday as Toronto was only able to record three hits in a loss to Cleveland Thursday.
