It’s been just under a week since Patrik Laine was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, along with Jack Roslovic, in exchange for Pierre-Luc Dubois.
Due to the pandemic and the trade taking place between teams in two different countries, they weren’t able to fly their new players into town right away, but it’s safe to say that Laine has officially landed in Columbus.
The Blue Jackets shared the footage of Laine arriving in Columbus on social media on Friday evening, but first shared a special video message from Laine himself.
Laine hasn’t visited Columbus a lot during his career with the Blue Jackets and Jets playing in different conferences, but we’re sure he enjoyed seeing his own billboard once he landed.
Roslovic has already made his Blue Jackets debut, but it’s only a matter of time until Laine is joining him on the ice.
