It's holiday season, which of course. also means ugly sweater season.
Hockey teams are in on the fun, and tonight, the Penguins hosted an ugly sweater night in the PPG Paints Arena for their tilt against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
So far, we think the clear winner is this one.
While the fans in the arena were all donning ugly sweaters, the teams' official Twitter accounts both took the opportunity to have a little fun at the other's expense. The Pens started it with a jab at this Penguins fan in a Blue Jackets' jersey, who was clearly looking to make a point.
Not to be outdone, the Blue Jackets were quick to fire back with a Tweet of their own of a similar nature.
They say that small battles win hockey games, and we firmly believe that Twitter beef is one of those small battles.
