Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon have never been teammates in the NHL, but their relationship and chemistry is something special. The two Cole Harbour natives spend time working out together back home in Nova Scotia over the offseason, but this summer they teamed up for a Tim Hortons commercial to help promote the franchise’s annual hockey trading cards.
Since the two are known for making their opponents look foolish and not their acting skills, there were plenty of hilarious outtakes and bloopers that took place during the filming of the duo’s most recent commercial and Tim Hortons has provided us with another treat by sharing those bloopers with the world.
Both players seemed to have a blast while they were shooting the commercial and they seemed to bring out the lighter side of one another. If you haven’t seen the final product yet, here it is.
Crosby and MacKinnon have created a great friendship just by filming Tim Hortons commercials together, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in the upcoming years.
