The Avalanche are bringing back a fan-favourite as their third jersey

We love when teams bring back a jersey that everyone loved and on Thursday, the Colorado Avalanche did exactly that.

Third jerseys are making a return for most NHL teams this season and rather than creating a new jersey, the Avs went with something from the past as their third jersey.

The Avalanche rocked this alternate jersey from 2015 to 2017 and they're going back to it this season for division rivalry games.

This is one of our favourite third jerseys we've seen revealed thus far and we're sure Jets fans can agree that sometimes, it's better to bring back a jersey from the past rather than make a brand new sweater.
