Buckle up Argos fans, your team is going to be hitting the field with a new look when the CFL returns to action.

On Monday morning, the team revealed its new (but also old?) logo for the upcoming season. Toronto’s kicking it back with a modernized version of its classic boat. According to the team’s website, the A on the shield will still be used from time to time as a secondary logo.

Enough of the talking, check this out!

B-e-a-utiful. Fans are feeling the change!

Worn from 1976-1988, the original boat was worn during the Argos’ 1983 Grey Cup victory that snapped a 31 year championship drought. The boat symbolizes the organization’s beginning as the Argonaut Rowing Club and "exemplifies the team’s β€œPull Together” mantra as each oar works in unison propelling the boat forward," per the team’s press release.

The Argos have not made the playoffs since their 2017 Grey Cup victory so this change could be exactly what they need to get back on track. The new look is straight fire!
