The San Francisco 49ers are getting a huge piece back just in time for their Divisional Round match against the Minnesota Vikings. Kwon Alexander was placed on injured reserve November 5th with a torn pectoral muscle. Alexander is no doubt happy to play with his team again, and the 49ers welcomed him back with an epic hype video.
Ever since Kwon Alexander got hurt, the 49ers defense has been less effective. Over the final eight games of the season, the 49ers gave up 20+ points seven times. When Alexander was in the line-up, that only happened twice in eight games.
Not only is he a great player, but clearly he knows how to get players motivated. He’ll be a huge factor in trying to slow down the Vikings offense. Regardless, the 49ers are thrilled to have him back.
