The Vancouver Canucks’ AHL affiliate, the Utica Comets, hosted their first Save of the Day Foundation Night a few years ago and it’s turned into an annual thing. This upcoming January, the Comets will host their third Save of the Day Night and it looks like the team is planning on bringing back their black and green neon jerseys for the event.

Not only will the team be bringing back their popular glow-in-the-dark uniforms, it looks like goalie Thatcher Demko has some updated matching pads to go with the jerseys.

Last season, the Comets raised more than $90,000 last year on the night of their Save of the Day Foundation game and are looking to pass that mark at this season’s version of the event.

The team hasn’t revealed their special edition jerseys just yet, but we’re guessing they’ll be pretty similar to the ones they rocked last year.

The team also hasn't announced the exact date of the event just yet, but it's expected to take place mid-January.
