Here’s a question: How old do you think Tim Tebow is today?
On Friday, the Mets’ Double-A affiliate Binghamton Rumble Ponies announced that Tebow, who, by the way, is 30 freaking years old, was named to the Eastern League All-Star Game. However long it’s been since you last heard of Tebow, it’s completely a fact that this man is still grinding.
Sure, whatever, those are probably solid numbers for an All-Star. We’re mainly just tripping out over the fact that Tebow is still hanging around, and maybe, just maybe, approaching his goal of getting called up to play in the majors.
This! From a guy who we last saw playing in the NFL six years ago!
It wasn’t even that long ago that it seemed miraculous just to see the guy crush dingers in Double-A.
Whatever ends up happening with Tebow will certainly be something that happens, but what has definitely happened is that Tebow has been kind of killing it so far. Can you believe that?
