Roughly an hour before LSU and Miami kicked off their NCAA seasons, players and coaches from both clubs had to be separated at midfield after twice mixing in pre-game warmups at the AdvoCare Classic from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
In the clip shown above, a large kerfuffle between LSU and Miami players can be seen around the 35-yard line on Miami’s sideline. In their grey LSU warm-up shirts and yellow pants, players from LSU can be seen exchanging some unpleasant words toward the all-white wearing Hurricanes, as well as one of the Miami coordinators before several players jumped in from all sides of the field. Here’s another couple of angles.
The last time to two clubs “clashed” was back in 2005, where a fight ensued following LSU’s 40-3 win.
LSU leads Miami 17-6 midway through the second quarter. You can watch the game live on TSN3.
