If you’re a Buffalo Sabres fan, you know that their year started out beautifully, with the highlight being a historic ten game win streak back in November. You’d also know that since then, things haven’t been going exactly according to plan.

The Sabres, who finished dead last in the league last year and bounced back to lead the entire NHL for a brief period in November,  haven’t won back-to-back games yet in the 2019 calendar year, and have only collected 12 wins since that win streak back in the earliest part of the season.

Buffalo went 9-4 in the month of February, and have slid all the way down to 21st place. Despite that, though, we think that forward Tage Thompson might have just provided the Sabres with the inspiration they need to get hot again.

This little guy is only fifteen weeks old, and he seems to have the whole ‘chase the puck’ concept down to a fine art. Great balance on the ice, too!

Buff is also an avid instagrammer, and we’re big fans of his page.

We have some serious hope for the Sabres now that they have this guy on board.
