Well folks, she stay!

On Friday, WNBA legend Sue Bird announced that she would be returning to the Seattle Storm for another year, postponing her retirement by at least another year.

Taking to social media, the four-time WNBA champ confirmed that she would be staying by using a clip from last season after she and the Storm were eliminated in the second round of the WNBA playoffs by the Phoenix Mercury.

The clip shows the crowd chanting for her to stay for one more year, to which Bird replied in the video caption, “Ok. Let’s go”, followed by a handshake emoji and green and yellow hearts.

In addition to the video, a swipe of different photos followed suit, including Bird in a Seattle Kraken jersey and a meme to represent the moment.

At 41-years-old, this season will be Bird’s 19tht year with the Storm, missing both 2013 and 2019 with injuries.
