Sue Bird is coming off her 4th WNBA title. She’s an 11 time All-Star, 5 time All-WNBA First Team, and 3 All-WNBA Second Team on top of that. She’s the league’s all-time assist leader, a 2x NCAA Champion, a 5x Russian National League Champion, and easily one of the most iconic female basketball players of all-time.

Megan Rapinoe is a Ballon d’Or feminine recipient, an Olympic Gold Medalist, a Golden Boot and Golden Ball recipient, and one of the best female soccer players in the world. She is an activist, one of the most outspoken athlete advocates for the LGBTQ community, and a philanthropist. She was recognized by TIME Magazine as one of the Top 100 most influential people of 2020.  

It’s safe to say they are one of the biggest power couples to ever come out of sports, and on Friday their nearly 4-year relationship culminated in a proposal.

Based on that information, we’re actually just ASSUMING that they got engaged. We’re sure they did, and we’re all happy for it.
