Steve Stoute referred to himself as the Drake of the Knicks and was quickly shutdown by the PR team

You probably aren’t familiar with the name Steve Stoute, but he’s the man responsible for launching Will Smith and Nas’ music careers, and has done plenty of other successful things over the course of his life.

However, on Tuesday afternoon he was a guest on First Take and went as far as saying that the New York Knicks brought him in to help rebrand the franchise and then compared himself to Drake…
 

Clearly Stoute was all caught up in the moment and said what he said, and the Knicks’ PR team ended up releasing a statement in regards to his comments a few hours after they were said.
 

In conclusion, Stoute is a very successful man, but he is not the Drake of the New York Knicks and is not part of the Knicks’ recruiting or branding team.
