The Dallas Stars find themselves in a must-win situation heading into Game 4 on Wednesday night or else they’ll have to worry about heading back to Nashville trailing 3-1 in the series.
In hopes of getting as many people as possible out to the arena to take in Game 4 and cheer on the Stars, the team decided to help fans out by providing them with a note and certificate that will get them out of whatever plans they have. Only this isn’t your traditional get-out-of-work letter, it’s a bit more fun.
According to the Stars, their regular Zamboni driver is “sick” tonight and won’t be able to clean the ice before the game and in between periods, so they’re looking for a replacement for Game 4. Don’t worry, it’s legit, because they even provided a certificate to prove that you are indeed a trained Zamboni driver.
