Some of your favourite internet personalities have been illustrated!!!!
David Linsangan, a science teacher and Anaheim Ducks fans who “loves weird art” (according to his Instagram bio) took the time to whip up illustrated concepts for nine members of the crew. Linsangan associated each avatar with a logo (mostly from hockey teams), but a few of us were slapped with something a bit more random. Let’s go in order of the picture and break down each person’s character.
JESSE
David was nice enough to hide the enormous jibs AND keep his nose to a respectable size. The logo was a no-brainer here, Jets all day in Jesse’s world. LET’S GO!!!!
LUCA
This one might be the most accurate of them all. From the flow to the beard, the features on Mr. Celebre could not be more accurate. Toss in the Avs logo and you’ve got yourself a perfect illustration.
CORWIN
This one is pretty on point as well. The wild hair, perfect beard, and of course, the Leafs logo. Just one question David… Where’s the belt?!
EMILIE
The resident Habs fan, just another accurate piece of work from out boy David. She’s definitely not smiling over the whole Sebastian Aho offer sheet situation…
DZ
The quizmaster himself, Z was one of the few given a logo from a different sport. The man bleeds red and yellow, and the Mercedes hat + headphones combo is too on point. We’ve gotta say tho… We miss the fro!
CHRISTIAN
Could this be any more Christian? Forget the fact that it looks EXACTLY like him, but let’s talk about that Stars logo for the second. He might be the only person in Toronto with that jersey and we love it. Nice attention to detail David!
SAM
First-Team all-jibs, the chiclets had to be out for our boy Sam. He may not be the best in the quizzes but at least he’s always rockin’ that pearly white smile! And of course, another Leafs fans…
ERIC
Eric is a hockey guy through and through, so it’s only fitting that David included his tinted visor. How he sees with that thing on is beyond us, but whatever floats your boat Ricky!
JULIA
Julia may love the Leafs but we all know she loves Thunder Bay more. She calls going to the cottage ‘camp’ and we still don’t quite get it. What’s weirder: Thunder Bay slang, or Winnipeg slang?
We should add that this isn’t the first time David’s work has incorporated BarDown. He made sure to share a lovely piece of Luca and Jesse rocking…. Leaf jerseys. They were impressed but disgusted at the same time.
