When it comes to sports logo designs, one of our favourite graphic designers is Eric Poole (epoole88). We've been a fan of his designs for a long time and if you follow him on social media, you've probably noticed he's doing something special for the holidays.

Back on December 1st, Eric started a Christmas countdown of sorts with his designs. He'll post one each day until Christmas and a number of the designs caught our attention, specifically the hockey ones.

Design 3 of 25. I’ll go with another hockey design for today. This was done for an overseas hockey academy. I was very pleased with how it turned out, in particular the color scheme which you don’t see to often. #hockey #logo #vector #rooster #branding

Design 7 of 25. We’ll keep the custom #hockey logos going another day 🙂. This logo was created for @ovejasnegrashockeyclub in Argentina. Their ‘ON’ logo was inspired by Team North America’s logo in the World Cup of Hockey. All turned out nice!👍 #logo #logodesigner #blacksheep #vector #illustrator #argentina

These custom designs are awesome to say the least and it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that follows epoole88 because he's very talented.
