People that don't ski or snowboard probably think the sport is, for starters, easy and second of all not dangerous.

Both of those opinions couldn't be farther from the truth, though.  Think about it, going downhill at ridiculous speeds and having to maintain your balance the entire time is not easy at all, and if you thought skating was difficult, skiing is one hundred times more challenging.

In terms of danger, falling after going downhill so fast can lead to a variety of painful injuries, but there are other ways to get hurt skiing.

One of those ways is by falling off of a cliff, which this skier did, but he somehow not only survived, but escaped without so much as a bruise on his body.

Watching the impact from Devin's point of view is enough to make us not want to ski for a long time.

Falling from that height while going that fast should have yielded some disastrous results, but Devin was thankfully okay, and we're sure he'll be back at it in no time at all.
