It hasn’t been a great start to the year for the Montreal Canadiens after a Cinderella run to the Stanley Cup Final just a few months ago. One of the main differences between then and now is the absence of Carey Price and Shea Weber, both of whom are away from the team for an undetermined amount of time.

Missing two pieces as significant as Price and Weber has clearly taken a toll, and maybe that’s why Weber decided to reportedly join his teammates in Seattle.

The Habs are scheduled to play the Seattle Kraken for the first time on Tuesday night, so Weber will presumably be in attendance. On Monday night, it is believed by some that Weber joined a handful of Habs players to catch the Seattle Seahawks take on the New Orleans Saints. In this picture you can see the suspected Weber sitting in a black jacket with the hood up.

At this point, it’s not clear if Weber’s NHL career is over. Marc Bergevin made comments during the offseason that made many believe Weber had played his last NHL game, so it’s pretty cool to see him still putting the time in to visit and support his teammates.

That’s a captain.
