One could argue that with being in quarantine for almost 4 months, some may have forgotten the dreaded rush hour traffic. Coupled with a new show time, can you blame Shaq for being late?
The answer is Charles Barkley 100% blames Shaq.
The NBA was set to make an official return on Thursday night ahead of the Pelicans-Jazz game and to kick off the restart, TNT’s pregame show, Inside The NBA, had an earlier-than-usual broadcast.
When the broadcast started, it was sans Shaq, an empty chair which was hilariously pointed out by co-anchor Ernie Johnson and Barkley could not believe that Shaq was actually late on today of all days.
Shaq did eventually show up and got called out immediately from being late to what he was wearing - which wasn't the wardrobe that had been picked out for him a few days prior.
Were those sweatpants?
Shaq did say he ran into some traffic due to an accident on the way which he attributed to his tardiness.
