Since launching a few weeks ago, the true crime documentary series Tiger King has quickly become an internet sensation — and Shaquille O’Neal hasn’t stopped hearing about it.
Shaq made a surprising appearance in the first episode as a guest at Joe Exotic’s animal park years ago, and a NBA on TNT clip is shown featuring the big man shouting out Exotic and his park on TV after his visit.
Obviously, as we know now, there was more to Joe Exotic than initially met the eye, and the Inside the NBA crew was pretty eager to get their jokes off about Shaq taking “the whole team down.”
Shaq explained his association with Joe Exotic — he only went to the park twice, America! — and his love for exotic animals. Of course, Chuck wasn’t going to stop roasting the big man any time soon. It’s just like NBA on TNT never left.
It’s clear that Shaq wasn’t aware of everything that Joe Exotic had going on... but he isn’t so keen to associate with the man now.
