When he's not firing up the takes on ESPN's First Take with Max Kellerman and host Molly Qerim, Stephen A. Smith can be found purveying his takes on the self-titled "Stephen A. Smith" radio show on ESPN Radio.
After Saturday and Sunday's slate of NFL Divisional games, Stephen A. received a call from a Cowboys fan by the name of "Tex Johnson" live on his show.
The caller asked Smith to take off his Cowboys hat and refrain from talking about the club, who were eliminated by the Los Angeles Rams in a 30-22 defeat.
“First of all, you’ve got to take that damn cowboy hat off and stop talking about the damn Cowboys. You understand me son?”
"Who is this," asked Smith, while Shaq replied with "You understand me, son."
Smith seemed to have a hunch the second O'Neal called, but stayed in character and claimed that he was merely "Tex Johnson, son."
But, the laughter eventually got the best of him, as Diesel hung up the phone once the cover was blown. Too bad for Stephen A., as you know he would've loved to scream to scream at the big man some more.
