Oh, it’s a blizzard out there. In Toronto, there is a snowfall warning with 15 to 20 centimeters of snow expected. Stay bundled up out there! Serge Ibaka is.
Now, as has been a bit of a running joke among Raptors fans, the team has had to mask the Toronto climate from Kawhi Leonard, who is a) an impending free agent that the Raptors are trying to sell on staying, and b) a native of California, where it literally never gets this bad.
So, of course, the Raptors would have to hide Kawhi from Ibaka’s snowy weather tweet as well — but no worries, he says, because Kawhi isn’t even on social media.
Fact-check time: Kawhi does have a verified Twitter account, but it has all of four tweets posted in its history, and all from 2015 with two being promotional tweets. This guy loves to stay offline, it seems.
Maybe he’ll like to stay inside, too. The Raptors are going to have to lock Leonard in the practice facility if they don’t want him to see the blizzard out there.
Or perhaps it’s too late — Leonard bought a mansion in California this week, and fans are already jumping to conclusions.
